What tips do you have to increase productivity?

Take your time getting settled in in the morning, drinking a big glass of water first thing can also drastically improve concentration. Take a break if possible and step onto our patio for some fresh air, or take a walk to the park next to our space. And of course for an afternoon pick me up, you can grab cold brew coffee from the tap in the kitchen!

Aren't coworking spaces just for freelancers and entrepreneurs?

While individual workers and digital nomads often utilize coworking spaces, many companies opt to use shared workspaces for their employees. Because coworking spaces have flexible offerings, such as dedicated (reserved) desks, private offices, meeting rooms, and team collaboration spaces, they are beneficial for businesses as well.

For many small businesses, it makes more financial sense to place their teams in already built spaces while they ramp up, rather than investing their start-up money into a brick and mortar. The same can be said for large companies with remote teams or companies that want to break into a market but may not be ready to commit to a lengthy lease on their own space.

What is the ideal coworking packing list?

Headphones, your laptop, a long to-do list, and a good attitude! If your coworking space is a place of productivity for you, and you come prepared to get working, then you'll have a great feeling when you head home.

At fibercove, we have computer monitors available for use, and extra laptop, phone or other chargers on hand, as well as adapters and dongles. Our full service kitchen is stocked and there is storage space in the fridge for packed lunches, as well as a number of great places to grab food nearby.

How do I access the building after hours?

For full time or other qualifying team members, you can access the building using the KISI app. Please speak with a team member to get you set up.

How many meeting/call rooms are available?

We have four conference rooms, several private phone rooms, and a media studio. Phone calls may be taken on our furnished patio as well!

Do I have to be a member to book a space?

Nope! Please visit our spaces page for more information.

Am I allowed to bring a guest?

Yes! Full time members may have clients or colleagues come in to meet with them at the space.

How long are the contracts?

We have no contracts. 🙂

Can I stay after hours?

Yes, members with full-time coworking, dedicated desk or private office membership have 24-hour access to the building.

Can I receive mail?

Yes, all memberships include business address and general mail services. Mail will be held at the front desk for pick up, unless otherwise requested, and you will receive an email notification with a photo of the package label or letter as mail or deliveries come in. 

Do you offer phone answering services?

We are partnered with Same Day Virtual Offices, who provide mail and answering services to small businesses and individuals.

Similarly to our Virtual Office Membership, you may pick up mail at our location during our business hours and use our business address, but will also include bi-lingual live answering services and a business phone number.

All live answering services are handled by experienced, professional receptionists that will not only screen your calls, but will text and email you a message containing the details of your incoming call 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. Podcast FAQ:

How do I book a recording session?

You can visit our booking calendar page and reserve a time frame for your recording. Once we receive your booking request, we’ll email you a confirmation. We will contact you if we need more information.

What is a video podcast?

A video podcast is simply a podcast with a video element. The video element could be as simple or as complex as you like, but it often consists of a single static image or a video recording of the podcast hosts and guests.

Can you edit my podcast after recording?

Fibercove does not offer editing or post-production services at this time, however we can recommend some great professionals! We can also provide helpful resources and best practice material as well. Just let us know!

What equipment of software is available?

Our studio is equipped with Rode microphones, an HD display screen, industry leading audio equipment as well as professional lighting and HD camera options. To see a full list, please see our spaces page.

Can I bring my own equipment?

Yes, you may bring your own equipment.

Will you help me record my podcast?

Of course! The room will be ready to record when you arrive, and our on site staff can help you get set up and answer any questions you might have. Prior experience or knowledge of the equipment is not necessary.
